Though love for the food runs deep, some patrons wish for a more varied dessert menu, as the options seem somewhat basic. Lastly, while The Taste offers authentic Korean flavors, those unfamiliar with the cuisine might find some dishes spicy or rich, needing a little caution when ordering.
The Taste never disappoints! The service is always outstanding and food is phenomenal and decently priced with generous portions. The owners are very lovely people and always greet with a smile. It has become my favorite place to go as a student at UNT it’s so conveniently placed near campus! I love their attentiveness when ordering takeout as well, everything is always packaged with care
I ordered chicken bulgogi with fried seaweed roll and it's soo good and delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for yummy food. They also have snacks and korean ice-cream for my dessert cravings after meal. Had a great meal after a long time. The owner is also welcoming with a smile and the seating is also good.
This is the kind of Korean restaurant I’ve been missing out on since moving to Flower Mound. This is the perfect mom & pop, hole-in-the-wall type of joint. The prices are amazingly reasonable and the food feels like my childhood. There aren’t any of these types of Korean restaurants in Carrollton. Instead of driving 30 min there, I’m going to do the 30 min drive here. Tons of variety, food made with love, my family loved eating here. I’m sad it took so long to discover this place. I’ll take more pictures of all the foods in the times we come in the future.
I've been to The Taste in person a few times and ordered food from them many times. Everything I've eaten has tasted great and fresh. Their food nourishes me and helps me feel better since I'm chronically sick and I have to pay attention to what I eat more. They gave me snacks with the food one of the last times I ordered, they're very generous with the portions too. Thank you, you guys have made my days a lot easier to endure🙏❤️ - Shane
Very good authentic Korean food. I've eaten here several times. And the cucumber kimchi is WONDERFUL. And the spicy beef bulgogi is outstanding!!
My husband and his co-workers eat here every Friday & always rave about the food. I finally got to try them out - every dish was amazing. The staff were very polite & the atmosphere is quaint & clean. A must try when you are in Denton!
I've come to this place over the years. Love the family vibe, the staff are so kind. Not a ton of Korean food in Denton, so it's kind of a little treasure. We got beef and chicken bulgogi and fried dumplings today. Loved all of it, and the banchans. Diverse drink options, and my friends and I had a great time. We weren't rushed at all, and want to keep coming back. Not busy when we went, parking lot is small but the place is cute and worth even a small walk!
The bulgogi dishes reign supreme here. Try the Bulgogi Beef or Bulgogi Chicken for a satisfying meal. The bibimbap is another favorite, packed with flavors and freshness.
Absolutely! The Taste is family-friendly and offers a variety of options that appeal to kids, making it a great spot for a casual family meal.
